QUANTOS has developed a specialized solution for the modeling of the loss of customers. The aim is the forecasting, through analysis of customer information. In terms of methodology, it is based on the analysis of historical data that characterize the clients that the business has "lost".
The challenge is to identify changes on transactions patterns (purchases,payments) probably related with the customer loss. Given the fact that a customer is leaving due to a combination of personal and "market" events (eg: family rising costs, retirement, occupational status change etc and the market competition) attrition modeling attempts to illustrate the reflection of those events to the business data.
